The Patriots Symphonic Band is honored to welcome Dr. John W. Knight as the new conductor of our long-standing, musical ensemble. As we have witnessed during our recent rehearsals, John is an extremely capable conductor and educator, and he is ready to lead our group to new levels of performance (and have some fun along the way!). Please welcome John to our group and get ready for an exciting summer concert season.
To see John's complete biography, visit the Conductor tab on this website.
Rehearsal Preparation for April 23rd:
Please bring ALL of your Patriots music to all rehearsals. We will likely draw additional music from our folders to cover longer concerts and will need to rehearse them ahead of time.
Please practice the following songs for the next rehearsal:
- American Overture for Band
- Dave Brubeck: A Portrait in Time
- Armed Forces '72
- The Magic of Andrew Lloyd Weber
- America the Beautiful
- The Blue and the Gray

The band is currently seeking qualified tuba and trumpet players to supplement these sections. If you know someone who might be interested in joining the Patriots, please contact John Knight at 440-647-6774.

Text Message Notification Service:
We have set up a Twitter account for the Patriots band to send emergency text messages to cell phones of band members. The Patriots website will remain the primary means of communicating information to band members, but text messages will give us a way to communicate last minute notices like a rained out concert or a rehearsal cancelled due to bad weather.
