Iria Calderhead, Soprano

Iria Calderhead has a Bachelor's Degree in vocal performance from The Cleveland Institute of Music. Her musical background has extended well beyond the classical realm having been a featured soloist in both Christian and rock bands. Most of her experience, however, has been in musical theater and choral directing. Some of her favorite roles include: Patty Simcox in "Grease", Marian Paroo in "The Music Man", and Audrey in "Little Shop of Horrors". Iria delighted in directing the Avon Lake Women's Chorus for seven years and is currently choir/bell director at Fairview Grace United Methodist Church. She also keeps busy with her Mary Kay business, occasional princess parties for young children, and private voice lessons. Ira is especially proud of her newest endeavor, songwriting. Iria is married to Patriot Band french horn player, Jay Calderhead. They have two children, Casey and Kaija.
